I haven’t heard of R-290, R-600a, R-513a, or R-448A refrigerant before. What is it?

R-290 (also known as high purity propane or CARE 40) and R-600a (also known as refrigerant grade Isobutane or CARE 10) are hydrocarbon refrigerants. R513a (also known as Opteon XP10) and R-448A (also known as Solstice N40) are HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerants. They are being used as an eco-friendly refrigerant by some manufacturers in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program. Are there any temperature specifications to keep in mind when installing this glass door unit?

This unit has a maximum ambient temperature rating of 90 degrees Fahrenheit. However, high humidity environments may cause excessive condensation and ice accumulation in the unit and on its doors.

Does Avantco warrant this item for use in a food truck?

Avantco warrants new equipment sold to food truck customers to be operational for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery if installed and maintained correctly.

What if my Avantco cooler doesn’t seem to be getting cold enough throughout the cabinet?

Make sure that you are loading it properly, and not overloading it. This unit is designed for cans, bottles, and similar items that naturally enable good airflow within the cabinet. Overloading the cooler with cases and boxes will interrupt the airflow and negatively impact the unit’s performance.

Can this item fit through a standard height 80" doorway ?

Due to the height of this item, it may not be able to fit through a standard 80" tall doorway when standing upright. Please consider the best means of entry before purchasing, or measure your entryway to ensure that you will be able to bring your order inside if the item cannot be carried on its side.

So far it's a great fridge. The only difficulty that we had was getting it removed from the pallet. One of the bolts broke free from the fridge frame and required us to break the pallet to get the fridge free. If that bolt hadn't come loose, it would have taken 30-45 minutes to get this installed, since that happened it took a couple of hours. Now that it's installed and running, I'm very happy with my purchase, just wish that it had come with a blank option for the top light. Cheers!

This Refrigerator was exactly what we were looking for. It was priced fair, we are very happy with it. It was packed well and shipped as I was told.

We decided that we would make the switch to this brand of refrigerator for our merchandise and snack inside some of our stores that we manage. We could not be happier. Not only are they very cheap, but they are also a lot quieter than you would expect. There is not a lot of maintenance that you have to do with this refrigerator either. I am very pleased with them.

Purchased 2 units in 2020. Both units have had leak in condenser and have had to be refilled in 2021 and 2022. Units are not worth the money

A great display area. We sell flowers and it even smells nice on the inside. Keeps the flowers alive and hydrated. It’s nice and cooling.

Fridge died after 11 months from a leak in the evaporator. Since I ordered earlier than I needed because of COVID, the warranty is lapsed.

This refrigerator consistently refrigerates all of our cold products. It is reliable, very sturdy, at times, the weight of our food can be quite heavy. The racks have no issue holding our food. I also love the fact that the digital thermostat is on the outside.

Great Refrigerator! Excellent value, great for using as a reach in cooler for the Kitchen. Quiet operation, and easy install. Highly recommend, and I even bought a second unit!

after searching the internet for two weeks , glad to find this refrigerator , large space inside , great performance , fear price A++ recommended for everyday heavy use .
