Avantco A-49R-HC 54" Solid Door Reach-In Refrigerator

DO NOT BUY! We ordered it for our child care center and once we plugged it in the temperature started going up. We let it run for a few hours and the temperature went up to 100 degrees! We checked the manual and reset the temperature but nothing was working to cooling it down. We called the company and they told us that this was warranty work and would send it someone out. It took 2 weeks before someone could come look at it and our center was not allowed to open because of this. We could not operate our commercial kitchen. The repairman fixed the fridge for short time but once again after 2 weeks the temperature went up again and the same company was sent to fix it! We were so excited to be able to purchase this high end item! Only, no one tested it before it shipped to discover it didn't function. And then when it was discovered that it didn't function (purchased that warranty for extra $$$) WE HAD TO DISPOSE OF IT ($$$). And because we moved in those few weeks back into our renovated facility, they didn't replace it- just gave us a "credit" to the website.

This refrigerator stopped working at exactly 23 months. The cooling mechanism is toast and is leaking all over the floor. I'm very frustrated. One day it worked and the next day it was 100% dead. Most of the cheaper brands are not worth the effort or money. You will easily spend the same amount in repairs--IF you can find someone to repair it and/or the parts. I could buy a piece of junk refrigerator that would perform better. I'm not a happy camper. I'm not even sure the warranty is any good because of the ten-million clauses and part numbers that do not match anything related to the product you will (or should not) purchase.

This refrigerator has been a huge disappointment. Only two years old and it has completely stopped cooling. Have spent thousands of dollars at Webstaurant and they hide behind their company line, how disappointing!! DO NOT waste your money on this product.

This Avantco Refrigerator is a little noisy. It doesn't hold temperature very well. When I open the door for just a brief few seconds, it looses temp of 5-10 degrees and takes a long period of time to recover.

I absolutely love this reach in Refrigerator. this refrigerator is very roomy, has easily programmable functions and is very professional looking. You can't go wrong with this unit.

This is the best commercial refrigerator we have every had. The temp is a contant temp and we absolutely love having it in our new commercial kitchen

We purchased this for our small coffee shop to store milk and sandwich making supplies. So far, it has been a great fridge, keeping temperatures well and easily cleaned when we have spills. We purchased an additional shelf to give us some extra space. The on/off switch was damaged during delivery when we improperly gauged the width of our entry door, but it was a simply matter of ordering a new switch and replacing the old one. We didn't have any trouble finding the extra shelving or the replacement part on Websteraunt's site.

BIG refrigerator. Holds almost 900lb of chicken. We jam both of our refrigerators to the max and the temperature stays constant. Easy to move on casters to clean and stays cool during service hours.

it i a very roomy fridge. For the price, I feel it is a great purchase. It is stainless steal so it's definitely a restaurant color. I hope it lasts since it was a very inexpensive option.

This unit is very well made and holds a very constant temperature and it is quick to return back to the set temperature. It has plenty of room inside and is the perfect size for small spaces.

We purchased 3 of these units. They are very spacious and you can store quite a bit in these units. They also do not consume a lot of electricity. We have had no issues with the temperature controls or the units maintaining proper temperature. There was a small dent in one of the doors. Most of the doors need to be slightly opened for the locks to engage. Also, these units will not fit through a standard size door. You will need to remove the wheels. The shelves are adjustable but it wasn’t an easy task. Overall, we are very satisfied!

Great reach-in refrigerator! Easy to clean (made of stainless steel and with casters), it is very big and the doors are self closing! Inside there are two lights and the best part for me is that I can lock the doors. I had to put the refrigerator next to the dining area of my restaurant, and to do so, I needed locks!

This has been a great larger fridge! We open and close this so much every day that we wore a seal out, but we were able to order a new seal with Webstaurant and it was an easy fix. It has tons of space and cools down quickly.

I have had this unit for a few weeks now. More spacious that you would think. A great addition to our small commercial kitchen. Love it

Great working units for over a year. I bought two of them for my restaurant and they are working great. Both units keep my inventory fresh and chilled, the temperatures are very stable.

Sounds like a small refrigerator, but let the size fool you. It's perfect for a small kitchen and can hold a lot of food. The shelves are adjustable to fit your needs and the doors open wide and stay open making it easy to remove stuff or to refill with new groceries.

This item arrived quick. For the price is not that bad, but as soon as I received it it wasn't cooling. It always stayed in 40 F degrees so I called the warranty company and they "fixed it". Still every time you open this door, it looses 2-3 F degrees just by opening. Again, for the price I think its reasonable.
