Avantco A-19F-HC 29" Solid Door Reach-In Freezer

1 STAR TO MUCH. AFTER 1 YEAR AND 10 MONTHS COMPRESSOR STOPPED WORKING. WAS TOLD THAT WILL RECEIVE NEW ONE BUT I HAVE TO PAY $600 FOR LABOR TO REPLACE COMPRESSOR. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRAND IN GENERAL. CHINA MADE.

The freezer worked great for a couple months, however it didn't take long for the temp to not stay down, and it has reached a point of needing to buy a brand new freezer (it's been less than 2 years). Basically techs are saying it will be more cost efficient to buy a better freezer than to try and fix this hunk a junk. Nothing stays frozen in this anymore. And avantco barely offered any assistance in solving the solution.

We just bought this freezer a couple weeks ago, working pretty good so far, the delivery was on time, really happy with the purchase. Good freezer.

This is a great freezer. For the price, you cannot beat it. We've been using it for almost a year now and have had no issues.

Dead on arrival. Called the service company. Couple of day later, technician came and told me the compressor is bad. And, they don't have the compressor in stock. He doesn't know when they will have the compressor in stock. They will let me know when they will have it. I should have changed the compressor on my 10 year old freezer. It would have been cheaper and less headache. Stay away.

Awesome! Automatic temperature control and easy to clean. Just plug it in. Easy to move and operate. Save yourself money and buy this as this works as good as the more expensive ones. Highly recommend!!

I’ve been in business for about 37 years and as a restaurant owner we all dread the repair costs of Refrigiration and in most cases it’s more cost effective to buy new. This unit was working properly for about 3 months. It’s a piece of junk not even worthy of the landfill or wherever it will wind up. I’ve waisted more than $500 so far (not to mention wasted food and deserts) and It would be working long enough for the installed part to run out of warranty. Consider buying this unit if you like a money pit in your restaurant. I wish I could give it negative 5 stars.

Wow what a great product!! Huge steal of a price for the performance it does. We just built a new kitchen with this as a replacement from a similar brand item. It was easy to install, land ready to use. Cleaning is a cinch!!

This freezer got cold FAST! Brand new, plugged it in, and it was good to go in a half hour! We're in and out of it all the time and it gets right back down to 10° in minutes!

Hate to have to write this because I loved the freezer. Unfortunately the compressor went you at 14 months after purchase. Thankfully I had purchased the extended warranty but I was quoted a lot to replace the compressor just in additional parts and labor even though the compressor was supposedly covered. I would have had to pay for my own coolant and a bunch of other stuff. I would recommend going to a big box store and buying a bigger residential freezer for less than half the price that more than likely will last long and if nothing else has parts you can buy for it.

I really do like mine; it serves its purpose. However, I am on the struggle bus with the locks on the wheels. I cannot get them to stay in place.

I own the unit for 18 months, it stopped cooling/freezing. and I thought to myself how unfortunate that the freezer went bad on me 6 months after the warranty would cover. I bought the item new to last long and to avoid repairs. Purchased May 2020, stopped working Dec 2021.

From the day it arrived it would douse all of the frozen foods with water during defrost mode destroying everything. Operations are really affected. Web restaurant says it’s a warranty repair. Bear in mind that when they say warranty repair that means someone will get to you in two weeks. Keep that in mind when you choose to go with an undependable brand like this

It is an affordable freezer, but would recommend buying a more expensive model that will potentially last. Webstaurant was great about sending someone out the first time the compressor went out, but since it has not gone into defrost mode. So once a month we have to manually defrost the freezer, which is a giant pain.

This freezer has great temperature consistency, it is a good size as well! We can perfectly fit half sheet pans inside for our cookie freezing process.

So far, this freezer has worked well. Because of the suction, sometimes it's a little harder to open, but that means it's doing it's job. There are dark marks on the floor from the wheels because it's so hard to open sometimes.

Easy to clean, stays at temperature consistently. We load this full with 8 cases of fries. Each case is 6-5lb bags. Temperature remains freezing even with the high volume of opening and closing the door throughout the day.

This is a great freezer for the price! We have a small drive-thru coffee shop where we need to keep our bagels, and ice frozen. This doesn't take up too much room, and has enough space for everything we need.

This is a high-quality and durable freezer. It's aesthetically-pleasing, high capacity, adjustable shelves and casters make it very flexible and versatile. It's perfect for large ice-cream cakes or many bags of ice for the extra freezer space you need. Very happy with the price and overall value.

Freezer was shipped in a timely manner. It was easy to unpack and set up. Its been working great for us. We just had to order some extra shelves.

Bought this freezer as extra storage in my market. So far, we have not encountered any problems. The inside capacity is quite nice, it can hold a good amount of cases/boxes. For the price point, overall I would say this has been a great purchase, would recommend.

Got a price from a local vendor before looking at this one. For the same freezer it was 400 more. Very large cooked quick. Keeps frozen and a must for any restaurant

This is a great freezer if you are limited on space like we are. Instead of constantly having to open the walk-in freezer, we are able to keep routinely used goods in this little freezer that requires far less energy and time to maintain its temp. it is quite spacious and on wheels if we ever need to move it.

So far this freezer is working great. It chilled fast and is everything the description stated is true. It does have a good door suction after opened and no rear castor locks - so don't yank too hard as the freezer will tip towards you. It comes with 3 shelves (although I could use a few more). The freezer is wider than my previous... my learning curve. Measure everything before you order! I had the white glove deliver (for my convenience). It was worth the money to me and gave me peace of mind for delivery. The gentlemen were courteous and helpful. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Would not recommend this freezer to anyone. Have had nothing but issues from since we purchased. Had company out several times while covered under warranty. Issue never resolved, will not keep temp.

Super roomy reach in freezer. I love it and it keeps food frozen. I personally like to take the shelves out of it and replace them with the speed rack style shelving!

I absolutely LOVE my Freezer. This item was a excellent purchase. it stores a lot an the digital feature is accurate. I would recommend and I would buy a large one once I get into a larger space.

When I received the freezer, the health department was coming in a few hours to inspect my equipment. In no time this freezer was completely cooled and at the right temperature.

This freezer works great. It has an easy to ready display to read temperature and is user friendly when you need to change the temp. Only complaint is that once you open an shut the door, it creates a suction and you are not able to open it again right away. You have to wait a minute before you can open the door again

I need this product for my ice that i be freezing. So i can make my shaved ice cones. Its very nice looking freezer meet all my needs.

We have had this freezer for about 5 months and no issues so far is very quiet and good looking, work like a champ keeping our fruts frozen ready for smoothies.

Perfect size for my food truck. Wish it would have came with 1 more shelf. Not easy to keep spots and fingerprints off the outside.
